D.I.C.E. Producer

Clacker

DICE producers vary greatly in size, measured by their annual Gross Production Cost (GPC). GPC is the primary metric by which a policy premium is determined.

Many DICE producers begin their first foray into insurance due to a specific project they plan to undertake. Many times, a Short Term policy for a specific project is the most cost effective way to obtain the insurance coverage required. Short Term Productions are generally defined as 'Productions lasting X days or less, with GPC no greater than $ Y'

The larger the GPC and the longer duration of the production, the higher the premium is. At some point an annual DICE policy begins to make more sense. You can cover your business for ALL of your productions throughout the year for the same premium or a little more premium that the premium for a short term policy covering only one production.
