Doug is a former professional musician who started playing the bass at 17 years of age. By the age of 21 Doug had recorded albums with Ray Manzarek, Walt Barr and others. Doug joined the Truman Van Dyke Company in 2007 as the short term desk manager. Since that time he has built a loyal and admiring clientele base, many of whom would never consider going anywhere else for their production insurance.

My philosophy regarding being a good agent can be summed up in 2 words 'Customer Service'. I very much enjoy helping beginning as well as experienced filmmakers through the process of evaluating their needs and helping them to understand the world of production insurance. It is very rewarding to me to receive E mails from my first time clients expressing their appreciation for my patience, availability and confessing relief that they found an agent who treated them as if their's was the most important project at hand.
