Kent Hamilton graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio with a BA. Kent followed his love for film and theatre when he left law school to work in various theaters and films in the United States acting, prop making, producing and writing. He co founded Swanhurst Theater in Newport, Rhode Island before coming to Hollywood to work for Paramount Pictures.
Again pursuing his legal orientation, Kent joined Farmers insurance as a claims adjustor and was soon promoted to Division Manager of Sales in Los Angeles. Missing production Kent next moved to Truman Van Dyke Company Production Insurance Brokerage over two decades ago to become Executive Vice President. Kent has insured thousands of motion picture and television productions and he and the Truman Van Dyke staff are responsible for insuring over $600,000,000 of film production cost a year.
Kent’s passion is in production. He understands a producer’s needs first hand. He and the staff at Truman Van Dyke are eager to be part of your production team.
